Yes that’s right. You can hire me as a freelance web developer. I can do a wide range work and I am very flexible. If you have design ideas, I can translate them for the web with CSS and XHTML or I can design and code from scratch. I can clean up code from existing sites to bring them in line with modern standards. I can add interactivity with JavaScript and Flash. I can optimize your site for search engines, commonly referred to as SEO. And I can put you in control of your own content by setting up a Content Management System.

I am a huge proponent of open source technologies which have a huge impact to clients as they are free to use in most cases (this site is run with an open source content management platform called Wordpress). You just need an experienced developer (like me!) to implement them for you.

I observe web standards in every project I do. Too many web sites are coded to standards of times past. I take pride in doing work that is very modern in coding practices while keeping the door open for future innovations. Translation: your site won’t be outdated in 6 months.

I have extensive experience with network administration, audio/visual support, mobile communications (especially BlackBerry and iPhone), web server management, desktop software support, as well as Microsoft enterprise products like Exchange Server, Windows Server 2003 and 2008, SQL Server, Internet Information Server, and Office Suite.

Recently I’ve been doing technology consulting and web development for Olympia law firm Allied Law Group. I also did some CSS and JavaScript consulting for a colleague who works for Arizona State University.
